LANCET CLASSES BEST FEATURES

LANCET Faculty:
The trust that Lancet Classes has built since 2002 ensures that only the most popular teachers with a proven track record are chosen as Lancet Professors. As a Lancet student, you will benefit from the combined expertise of the best professors.

Lancet Notes:
Lancet notes are made by compressing many reference textbooks into a small set of neat thin books. Lancet Notes are prepared with “concept-clearing-questions” which make you understand the underlying concepts behind a question. Once a concept is clear, then any other questions based on that concept can be solved. Studying from Lancet Notes you can be sure that you will get the most knowledge by studying the least number of pages.

Lancet TEST series:
This makes sure that students who take Lancet Tests seriously will have concepts that are crystal clear. Further, the Lancet Final Tests are widely considered to be the best Prediction Papers which mock the actual examination paper; one of the reasons why Lancet students perform so well in HSC and ENTRANCE.

Parents' meeting

In every academic year, a meeting will be organised for parents, to introduce them to the functioning of classes and also to guide them on their role in supporting their child both physically and psychologically in the very crucial year of the HSC/CET Examination.

Lancet Planning for Problem & Sums:
Problem sums form a major part of the syllabus for subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Maths. There is a list of all the possible sums classified as per chapter, concept and topic. Further, these are categorised as class-work and home-work sums. This helps the student to identify the type / sub-type of the problem just by reading the question. It also boosts the students confidence about the different formulae and their applications. A class-work and home-work solutions book is provided towards the end of the chapters. Thus, the student can refer to and revise the problems as and when necessary.

LANCET TIPS:
» Maintain a time-table. Without proper time management and scheduling, it is difficult to crack this exam.
» Make self notes of all the important concepts and terminologies. One day before the exams, these will help you more than books.
» Practice with as many mock tests as possible. Mock tests help you not only maintain accuracy and speed, but they will also help you analyse questions properly.
» Find out what your strengths and weaknesses are.
» Don’t procrastinate. Plan your day and break down tasks into smaller goals. Once you take care of the smaller goals, the big goals will fall into place.
» When things are not working out as you intended, you need to learn how to develop a positive attitude and handle frustration and failure.
» Keep yourself motivated and well-prepared. You have to appear for your Entrance exam shortly after your HSC exams. Prepare in such a way that you dont have to study during this interval, but just revise.
» Manage stress by exercising, or relaxation techniques such as yoga and listening to music or simply sharing your problems with friends.
» Mistakes are a crucial part of any learning and each one is a lesson leading you towards the right solution.
» Make sure that you carry this attitude of learning, focus and determination ahead in life, which will assure you of success in all your future endeavours.
» Set specific and clearly defined goals for yourself. Make sure that these are realistic and achievable.
